On 27 August, we had the privilege of hosting our inaugural AquaPolis Townhall, and we’re thrilled to have had so many familiar faces from our community join us. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable as we unveiled our plans for an industry consortium. This consortium is set to unite the ecosystem to build a highly productive and profitable aquaculture industry in Singapore.
During the session, we delved into some pioneering industry-led consortium project ideas and eagerly anticipate more proposals of innovative concepts from our future consortium members. We also provided exciting updates on an upcoming Asian Seabass R&D programme that our researchers have thoughtfully designed, which is poised to boost Asian Seabass production locally. Additionally, we highlighted a calendar of forthcoming community events designed to foster collaboration and drive forward-thinking solutions.
