SFA, NUS and TLL signed AquaPolis Agreement to boost sustainable tropical aquaculture R&D

On 1 November 2023, we marked a groundbreaking milestone with the signing of the AquaPolis Agreement by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL). This pivotal agreement formalises the structure and operations of the AquaPolis R&D Programme, setting the stage for an era of innovation and transformation in tropical aquaculture.

The AquaPolis R&D Programme is poised to become a beacon of excellence, uniting local and global aquaculture expertise to co-create innovative and sustainable solutions. By fostering collaboration across diverse domains and geographies, we are confident that this initiative will drive significant advancements in the aquaculture industry, positioning Singapore as a leading hub for research and innovation in tropical aquaculture solutions.
